What is the Humanitarian Aid Team @ IISc?
The Humanitarian Aid Team @ IISc is the volunteer-driven initiative that formed the foundation of what later became iNNER-EYE Foundation. It began as a collective of like-minded individuals associated with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, including faculty members, research scholars, students, and professionals who came together to respond to social and humanitarian needs.
When was iNNER-EYE established?
iNNER-EYE Foundation was established in 2016 by the Humanitarian Aid Volunteer Team @ IISc, Bangalore.
Where does iNNER-EYE operate?
iNNER-EYE Foundation is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, but its humanitarian services and initiatives are not limited to a particular city or state. The Foundation works to provide support anywhere in India, based on the needs of communities and the nature of the project. Through its volunteers, partners, donors, and community networks, iNNER-EYE undertakes and supports initiatives in areas including Education, Livelihood, Health, Hunger Relief, Elder Care, Menstrual Hygiene, and Disaster Relief.
Can I make a one-time donation?
Our major focus areas include: SchoolBench_INDIA & Girls’ Education, Hunger Relief & Community Feeding, Health & Well-being, Menstrual Hygiene, Elder Care, Livelihood & Skill Development, Disaster Relief, and Educational and community development initiatives.
Can I sponsor a girl's education?
Yes. Through the Girls’ Education Program, individuals and organizations can support deserving girls with their educational expenses and help them continue their studies toward a self-reliant future.
Can I donate specifically for food and hunger relief?
Yes. You can support our Hunger Relief / Community Feeding Program through monetary contributions, grocery donations, or other approved forms of support.
Can I donate materials instead of money?
Yes. Depending on the requirements of a particular program, we may accept groceries, educational materials, clothing, essential items, sanitary products, and other useful resources.
Are donations eligible for tax benefits?
Eligible donations to iNNER-EYE Foundation may qualify for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, subject to applicable laws and conditions.

What kind of volunteering opportunities are available?
Depending on current requirements, opportunities may include: Teaching and mentoring, Community outreach, Fundraising, CSR outreach, Event support, Content and social media, Research and documentation, Distribution activities, Administrative support, and Professional/technical volunteering.
Can students volunteer or intern with iNNER-EYE?

Can I know how my contribution has been utilized?
iNNER-EYE aims to maintain appropriate documentation, monitoring, and reporting for its programs. For eligible projects and partnerships, appropriate reports and updates may be provided to donors or partners.
