Human values without intellectual; Intellectual without human values — no use for the Humanity.
As a Human, we came to the life to have a blissful and peaceful life. It is possible if we serve one another for our well-being. This Humanity is nothing without human values — kindness, caring, compassion, charity. This world has enough human resources, knowledge and wealth, but still the persistence of poverty, helplessness, vulnerability, and inhumanity makes this Humanity more vulnerable because we lack the human values and practice the values. We, the like-minded people, from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, set a vision and goal to the helpless beings in the society; we unique the way we think and act the charity and service with kindness & compassion.
Addressing the root causes of poverty, helplessness, vulnerability, and inhumanity requires holistic and multi-sectoral approaches that prioritize equity with all the human beings by nurturing human values. The seed of the noble thoughts flourished from the noble minds to reach maximum people beyond our boundaries to help the human kind for better living with dignity. The support and contribution of IIScians are great and significant.
The shared values are unique in bringing the harmony, integrity & trustworthy among beneficiaries, volunteers, donors, members, executives, co-ordinators of the Foundation in serving our purpose and committed missions. We are proud of our values, code of conducts & responsibilities. They are non-negotiable and inform everything we do. To achieve our purpose, we need to adapt some of our behaviors to keep us harmony while staying true to our values. That’s why we have our high standard commitments.
The concerns about the lack of human values in humanity are valid, it is important to recognize the resilience and capacity for positive change inherent in human nature. By cultivating empathy, compassion, and ethical behavior in our interactions with others, we can contribute to the promotion of human values and the creation of a more just, inclusive, and compassionate world.
